You know those days when you accidentally look like Posh Spice? One of those.
Top from Sweetest Goodbye (now closed), League leather trousers, Nylon Outfitters sunglasses, belt from Happy Bivouac, hair from Abyss. Skin is as always Curio’s Jasmine.
I want to buy dances today, I love SL dances even though I don’t know why.
Today’s main thing is a black latex kimono from Tuty’s. I believe it exists in other colours but black is classic and the most goth. Gloves are part of an outfit from Moyet, where you can get things that are both black and shiny. Oh, the things you discover by spending too much time on the marketplace. I should have photographed that outfit really, it made Chav’s arse look smashing. The pipe is another marketplace find, I believe the shop is called RMK or Rokumeikan but I am not sure which it is in the search. Shoes – which you can’t actually see here – are those Bax boots. You know the ones, they’ve been endlessly recycled since 2009 so you probably have a pair. With invisiprims. Woot!
Magical hair with ornamentation is from Tukinowaguma, which is an essential shop for slightly mad hairdos. Curio skin with a make-up tattoo I made. Similar ones available for about 50Ls at Who Killed Bambi. Which is a shop I know nothing about, ahem.
Poetic Colours eyes, which I never change because if eyes cost me 200L then I am damn well getting my moneys worth out of them. I don’t really know how much eyes should cost, I suppose they are lots of work but the market average is quite low for them generally speaking.
In other news I have been playing Linden Realms on my alts to net them massive sums of up to 50 spacebux. It is a game where you spend a lot of time wandering about getting killed, so I would recommend it to almost anyone. Just be sure to press ctrl-R to Always Run.

Went to Porto to take these pics, which seems to be some sort of art installation about death. Anyway, dress is from Falln, and go to the actual shop where it is 110 Ls cheaper than it is on the Marketplace. Which I didn’t think people are allowed to do? Anyway. Hair is from Clawtooth, skin is Curio, and glasses are some Lady Gaga style from the Marketplace.
Oh yeah also make-up from L.Fauna and exciting mesh boots from G-Field at the Four Corners event.

I went to A.M.K.R to stalk the Lucky Board and it went to C as soon as a teleported in. Therefore I have won this kimono, which is rockabilly as hell. They sell smashing moden subcultural kimono and I will probably blog some others at some point. It come with zouri (which is shoes) and I turned the obi round to have the knot at the back in case someone thought I was a hooker. Because that could happen, especially if you hang around in infohubs.
Hair is Tukinogawa, which has a nice line of geisha and oiran hairs for reasonable prices. I’ve been lax in adopting the hairdos because the classic geisha look doesn’t really suit Chav that much and, erm, well, you have that thing where people making hair in a niche aren’t always the best at the horrid thing that is having to make nice hair textures. (This is not just a niche thing, come to think of it, a lot of fairly successful hair shops in SL have quite ugly textures going on.)
Now my goal in life is to get the Lucky Board prize from Kisetsu. Alas it needs 50 people and it never seems to hit that number.
Recently Chav has become a founding member of the League of Steampunk Geisha, which basically entails wandering Caledon in a kimono and totally in no way being an assassin on the side. It’s a roleplay thing, I’m trying to learn how to lie with conviction. Anyway, this has led to a ridiculous collection of kimono from all over the world of Second Life. This one is from Fubutsu-Dou, which is one of my favourites for kimono along with Kisetsu and Ancient Tree.
Hair with accessories from Tukinowaguma, skin is Curio, eyes from Poetic Colours, pipe found on the marketplace here.

Chav is a doll sometimes these days, because the DollCoco one is cute and pretty and all those things. Here she is in a red Greek Dress and hair from the sale at Analog Dog. I don’t own much AD hair but it is cheap and black hides the issues that sometimes crop up with such hairs in lighter colours.
Here’s the red dress again (obvs), and a brown cloak and the new Flat Boots. I love mesh, mesh is great. I also hate mesh when I try to make my own mesh clothes in Blender, but when I am not doing that I love mesh.
A dress, it is a nice dress. You’re meant to wear it with the cloak but as you can see I am not doing that because I am a bad person.
I don’t know why I like the DollCoco so much, I think maybe that it looks not too different from my normal av, allowing for the fact that it is a mesh doll that looks nothing like my normal av. You can get the body for free and a head is 450L, though obvs then you will need to get clothes for it, which range from free to expensive. Still if you stay as a doll long enough it will save you spacebux because you can’t buy all sorts of other things since the won’t fit your new mesh self.
